Hi, I’m Meg!

​

I’m Megumi Rooze, but please call me Meg. I’m an Austin-area photographer who loves capturing the moments that truly matter. The laughter, the love, and the real emotions that make your story unique.

 

Growing up traveling the world with a U.S. Air Force dad and Okinawan mom taught me to see beauty in every story. Now, as a wife and mom to two amazing daughters, I know how quickly time flies. That’s why I specialize in weddings, seniors, families, maternity, engagements, and pets to help you preserve the memories you’ll treasure forever.

 

My sessions are relaxed, fun, and tailored to you. I’ll guide you through poses, outfit tips, and little details so your personality shines through in every photo.

 

When I’m not behind the camera, you can usually find me outdoors with my husband Jason, especially if fishing is involved. I also work as a licensed life and health insurance agent, helping people protect what matters most.

I believe photography should celebrate everyone. My lens is open to all stories and identities—because love, connection, and joy deserve to be seen and remembered in every form. With family and friends from different parts of the world, and loved ones who are neurodivergent and part of the LGBTQ+ community, inclusivity isn’t just something I strive for—it’s a core part of who I am and how I work.
