Senior Pictures, Stony Point High School
Senior year is such an exciting time, and capturing this milestone through photos is one of my favorite parts of being a photographer. Recently, I had the chance to photograph Ryuki, a linebacker for Stony Point High School, and this session was a perfect mix of strength, confidence, and school pride.
Ryuki showed up ready to represent everything he’s worked for throughout his high school career. He brought his letterman jacket, a symbol of years of dedication on and off the field, and of course, his football, which is such a huge part of his story. We built the session around his passion for the sport, focusing on bold, powerful portraits that capture the determination and focus it takes to succeed as an athlete.
What I loved most about this shoot was how natural Ryuki was in front of the camera. Whether he was posing with the football under the Friday night lights vibe we created or simply standing tall in his jacket, every photo reflected his hard work and personality. These images are more than just senior pictures—they’re a celebration of everything Ryuki has accomplished and the exciting future ahead of him.
Sessions like this are what senior photography is all about: telling a story that’s as unique as each student. Congratulations, Ryuki, on an amazing senior year and all that’s still to come!
